Obituary of Brondel Baynum

Covington - Brondel "Craig" Baynum, age 42, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at his home in Covington. He was born on May 16, 1976 in Covington Kentucky. He attended St. Joseph Crescent Springs Elementary, Turkeyfoot Middle and Dixie High School, where he shared his musical talents in the drum line. He later attended the Hobart Institute where in 2002 he became a certified welder. He was a gifted artist which led him to his final career choice of being a painter. His last job was with Fresh Coat Painting where he shared his craft in homes and businesses across the tri state. Those who knew Craig well knew he had extraordinary talent only bested by his humility. He was passionate about music. He loved the outdoors and had an undeniable love for animals. He was a friend to all and had a heart of gold. Most of all he was a loyal, compassionate son. Craig was a special human being, loved by many. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him. He is survived by his loving parents Jerry and Connie Baynum of Villa Hills, his sisters Cara Patrick and Amy Huey, brother in laws Ryan Patrick and Tom Huey, nieces and nephews Tanner, Kendall & Landon Gleeson, Dylan & Demi Patrick, Kristina Karrick, Preston Huey, and his baby, Phantom the dog. Your fight is over, be at peace. Fly high with the angels, you have been set free.

A prayer service will be held at Lakeside Christian Church on Thursday, August 30th at 5:30. Immediately following we will move to Villa Hills Civic Club and invite all to gather and celebrate Craig.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky.
