Mary was committed to her family and her faith; baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Faith at St. James Church in 1955. She was heavily involved in supporting her local Catholic Church parishes, St. Francis in Lebanon, St. Elizabeth Seton in Milford and St. Gabriel in Glendale where she was a tutor, a substitute teacher and a part of the sewing group creating beautiful, one of a kind items.
Mary, an avid reader and passed along that love of reading to her children. She taught them to use their gifts and talents suporting them in games, plays, and recitals. She was known for her beautiful gardens one even being used in a poster about her town.
