Obituary of Alvin Philip Nillen III
A. Philip “Phil” Nillen III, age 39, passed away suddenly October 4, 2020 in Florence, KY. Philip was born September 27th, 1981 in New Orleans, La. The son of Alvin “Al” Nillen Jr. and Renée Songy. He was a loving big brother to Danielle N. Delatte (Barry Sr.) and Richard J. Nillen. He was also a loving and amazing “Bruncle/Guncle” to Alaynna, Barry Jr, Ava, and Breauxdy Delatte, Gabriele (Ryan), Scott Jr. (Melanie), Madison, Alyssa LeMay (Devin), and Preston Mathews. Phil resided in Florence, Ky. He moved from New Orleans, LA. as he wanted to be with his family. It was such a Blessing watching him be a Bruncle/Guncle to his nieces and nephew’s that he loved so much. They will always cherish his memories and will forever love him dearly. He currently worked at CVG7 in Hebron, Ky. In New Orleans, La. he worked in the Auto Motive industry for 16 years at Premier Kia of Kenner for 16 years. Phil had the purest of hearts. He was selfless and always there whether it was for a ride, to talk, or to make sure you laugh with one of his quirky jokes we all knew and loved because he never liked to see anyone sad. He was a loving Son, Brother, Bruncle/Guncle, Nephew, Cousin, Friend, Co-worker, and so much more. He is survived by all and will be missed dearly. A celebration of life will be held in Ohio on Saturday October 17th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at 1 Greg Lane Williamsburg, Oh. 45176. we will also do a celebration of life and burial in New Orleans, La.
