It was extremely saddening to receive the news of Joe's passing. It's been many years since I've seen him, going back to the seventies actually. We were involved in parachuting together, many weekends of enjoying the excitement of the sport and kinship of like minded people. He bought his first parachute from me, it was my first and I always enjoyed seeing him descend under it.
Joe had a particular quality, I can't define it but I remember him as being a guy that I always liked seeing and enjoying the pleasure of his company....a true friend. Blue skies Joe.
I did not know any of the family but I extend to you all my deepest sympathy and regrets.
