Obituary of Alexis K Buemi

Alexis (Lexi) Kimberly Mishelle Buemi passed away July 11th, 2021. She was born December 13th, 1994 in Ft. Thomas, Ky. The beloved daughter of Michael Buemi and Lisa Buemi Hughes (Ken Hughes). Loving mother of Matthew Nelson, Trent Parker and Jesse Hightower. Sister of, Geneva Buemi, Michael Buemi, Gabriel Sebastian (Cody Sebastian), Gunnar Buemi (Michelle Rott-Buemi), Katlyn Buemi and Brandon Cannada. Lexi is also survived by her Grandmother Barbara Webster (Alan Webster). Lexi had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Many people describe Lexi as a “light in their life”. She was the most beautiful person both inside and out. She was caring and thoughtful and has helped many people in their time of need. Lexi has many friends that meant the world to her. Lexi also had a great sense of humor, Lexi as a little girl would be the one standing in a crowd of adults telling jokes, you knew where she was by hearing the roar of laughter. She kept her family entertained for hours. Each one of us as so many special moments with Lexi that will be cherished forever. Lexi as a mother she deeply loved and adored her three boys. Lexi loved to dance, sing, act, do make-up, and hair. She especially loved doing Tick-Tok videos with her niece Mia. Lexi’s laughter is contagious, no matter what mood you were in, she would have you laughing. Lexi loved animals, so much so that as a little girl, her and her sister Katie, would invite all, and I mean all of the neighborhood stray cats into the house, after playing dress up with the cats, they would force them back outside before their mother got home from work. Lexi also collaborated with her little sister Katie to take over their older sister (Geneva) bedroom. Geneva had left in the morning, and by the time she got home, Lexi and Katie had all of Geneva’s stuff moved out and their stuff moved in. They even hung their posters on the wall. They were completely moved in. Lexi also with the help of her sister Katie decided they had enough of their brother Gunnar, they ganged up on him, and used duct tape to tie his hands and feet. They also covered his mouth with duct tape and threw him in the closet. This is only a short list of all the shenanigans Lexi was involved in. The memories we shared with her are unforgettable. Lexi has touched all our lives and the imprint she left on our heart will be with us forever. I’m sure that she is up in heaven in a circle with God and the Angels telling jokes and funny stories, the laughter can be heard throughout heaven. We all love you so much Lexi. I'm Free Don't Grieve for me, for now I'm Free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To Laugh, to Love, to Work or Play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void. Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends good times, a loved one's touch Perhaps my time seems all too brief, Don't lengthen it now - with undue grief. Lift your heart and share with me, God wanted me now; HE SET ME FREE !
